Musings and bookmarks about Stonehenge and related stuff.
These solstice celebrations at our megalithic sites never cease to amaze me. Whenever I've had a stone circle access visit to Stonehenge the security guards tell you, in no uncertain terms, that you cannot touch the stones, not even a gentle hug or a soft caress. But it seems at Stonehenge on the solstice you can do what you like and climb all over them while the security guards turn a blind eye.Full credit to the guy in the last picture picking up the litter. If only the rest were like him and took home their 'ritual' litter home with them.
