Stone Age MYSTERY: Are YOU Being Lied To...?

I hadn’t realised there was a “cover-up” story about me until Paul got in touch to check the facts, so I’m really pleased he’s put the record straight.
I just watched Paul’s video and I hadn’t heard of the possible fourth post hole in the parking lot. I was the archeologist for MOD at Salisbury plain and Stonehenge from 2000 to 2004 and took great interest in the significance of these post holes. I don’t want to reveal official secrets, but we all know that occasionally, for expedience - some industrial excavations are undertaken without archeological coordination. It might be interesting to do a more exacting measurement and comparison of the photographs of the post hole you took with the drawings from the original excavations. There is no scale for reference, but if we knew the exact length of the yellow and black path markers, we could do a reasonably accurate comparison. Has anyone done that yet? I’m fascinated by the possibility of yet unidentified further post holes.

Hi Allan, thanks for that. I have a niote that the squares were 150mm, 6 inches which I think is right. I have tried without success to confirm that today. But EH still use them do it wouldn't be hard to do so if needed. They are certainly within an inch or so if that. Thanks Tim
