These PEOPLE were buried according to the beliefs and customs of their time. The fact that time has passed is irrelevant. Respect should still be the watchword of those involved in any dealings with human remains. Why not put an end to the whole of this struggle, simply by utilising replicas? This is OBVIOUSLY the correct, respectful, moral way forward!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10285684065739110620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787185370858787658.post-19147825130700999852013-10-04T14:30:20.184+01:002013-10-04T14:30:20.184+01:00Displaying remains of the dead shows no respect fo...Displaying remains of the dead shows no respect for the customs and culture of those who buried them or the bodies of the dead. Replicas could be used instead in any case! It is both disrespectful & in bad taste.<br />Why is the displaying replica's is not viable? I will not visit this centre if the human remains are displayed. I consider it grave robbing to make money, and morally wrong.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01979524639155719044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787185370858787658.post-24399609495714218272013-10-04T09:11:26.989+01:002013-10-04T09:11:26.989+01:00We are opposed to the display of Ancestral Human r...We are opposed to the display of Ancestral Human remains in a World Heritage site. We believe replicas should be on display if appropriate and the dead re-buried. Let those we lay to rest-stay at rest.
